WHAT IS THOMS?
The THomassen On-lineMonitoring System (THOMS) is an intelligent condition monitoring system that securely gathers data from gas turbine systems anywhere in the world. The data is used for real-time display, trending
and analysis. This system can help to reduce costs
significantly.
HOW DOES THOMS WORK?
The local THOMS data acquisition station connects directly to the Speedtronic MARK V arcnet network or the Speedtronic MarK VI and the ATH TC7 ethernet network.
This provides access to all turbine data, including measurements, setpoints, status information and alarm indications. The gas turbine owner physically enables data transfer to the remote THOMS station at ATH headquarters
in The Netherlands, where the data is analyzed.

THOMS enables quick analysis of malfunctions in gas turbine installations, helping minimise downtime. Experts at ATH headquarters can guide on-site operators and maintenance personnel through the control system logics and view the overall status of gas turbines, control system hardware, and software.
