AES Kilroot & Ansaldo Thomassen

On the On the 12th March the bi-annual Ansaldo Energia Customer Day 2010 was held in Grand Hotel Savoia in Genoa – Italy . Over 80 customers visited the event and were updated on the latest technologies and services for their power plants. 



Mr. Neil McIlwaine from AES Kilroot shared the experience from cooperating with Ansaldo Thomassen in 2009 for the relocation of 2 frame 6B gas turbines. The two GE gas turbines were relocated from Itabo site in Dominican Republic to Kilroot in Northern-Ireland. The job is an excellent reference project for the Ansaldo Thomassen service capabilities and provides Ansaldo Energia a stepping stone for future business within the AES global organization.
