In 1999 Ansaldo Thomassen, since a couple of decades a worldwide concept in the area of industrial gas turbines, successfully buckled down to the service market for, in particular, the so called heavy duty gas turbines of the General Electric brand.

Following the recent take-over by Ansaldo Energia established in Genoa, in addition to manufacturer of, among others, industrial gas and steam turbines and generators, also an important player on the service market for gas turbines and generators, we will be able to serve our customers even better than previously has been the case. Our mutual growth plans are ambitious. Ansaldo Thomassen strives for a steady growth of the turnover over the coming years and has, supported by Ansaldo Energia, set the objective to acquire a top position on the world list of so called Independent Service Providers.

Our strength can particularly be found in offering tailor-made solutions to our customers, mostly power stations. Our product portfolio consists, in addition to regular (contract) maintenance and the development and production of high-quality turbine components, of the modification and modernisation of existing gas turbine installations in order to increase the performances and efficiency and to adjust the same to the current emission criteria. Our solutions do not infrequently result in a better performance than the solutions offered by the original manufacturer. Our close collaboration with our parent company Ansaldo Energia is a big support in connection therewith, technically as well as financially.

To realise our objectives we are regularly looking for people who would like to combine working in an international high-tech environment with a large degree of independence and who would like to grow with us towards the top position we aspire.
